Memorial Services for G.A. “Skip” Layton, Jr.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Gordon “Skip” Archer Layton, Jr. Skip served as the Director of Municipal Services for eleven years and his commitment to excellence and detail is reflected in the many projects he has completed over the years. Skip will forever be in our hearts and minds as we continue his legacy through our work.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Haisten Funeral Home, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in McDonough, Georgia or the Wounded Warrior Project.
