Falcon Design Assisted City of Sugar Hill with Public Outreach for 22-Acre Passive Park

The City of Sugar Hill purchased 22-acres of greenspace and held public information meetings to input for how the property should be used. The site had mature trees, grassy meadow areas, and two ponds which created a picture perfect environment for a passive community park. FDC assisted the city in public outreach and design charrettes over a two year period. The collaboration resulted in a final plan that included a central pond with a fountain and a fishing area, disc golf, trail system, including paved and unpaved sections, and an outdoor classroom area, among other amenities.
